Crystalle Ramey, Tortal Training’s VP, Learning Development, Earns PMP® Certification and Brings Enhanced Project Management Expertise to Learning Design
Charlotte, NC, January 24, 2018 – Tortal Training announces that Crystalle Ramey, Tortal’s VP, Learning Development, has just earned the prestigious Project Management Professional (PMP®) Certification from the Project Management Institute. PMP® Certification is awarded only to individuals who have achieved high marks on a four-hour, 200-question PMP® exam, widely regarded as one of the most challenging exams administered by any certifying body.
The exam tests individual’s ability to lead complex, multi-phase business projects. It is offered to both college graduates and non-graduates, but individuals like Ms. Ramey who have earned four-year college degrees must first demonstrate at least 4,500 hours of leading and directing projects and complete 35 hours of training. The exam tests applicants in 10 knowledge areas and five process groups that encompass 47 specific processes.
“I am proud to have earned the PMP® Certification,” Ms. Ramey says. “The exam is no joke – it requires a rigorous study schedule over a five-month period.”
“We are especially proud that Crystalle Ramey has achieved this professional milestone,” says Cordell Riley, President of Tortal Training. “All of the training development projects we undertake at Tortal are large and complex. Prior to taking the exam, Crystalle was already handling them superbly. Now, we know she will bring even more powerful skills and knowledge to every project she undertakes as part of our team.”
